The one thing you learn from going to forums is the ability to write some bitch slapping replies. I just wrote one for business letter and couldn’t have done it with such style and prose without my troll forum training.

So Thank You Forums!

Been feeling a bit strange this past week and oddly enough I was looking for some old emails and papers and seems around the same time last year and before it was the same.

Strange wonder what causes these things around the same time every year, salve and glad that I keep dated notes on it so I can refer back to them.

I Miss Taco Bell

Just had some KK goodness.

Just had some KK goodness.

I have been really slow on my NFL picks this year cause a lot of the teams haven’t changed my in the surface, implant and I really have been paying much attention to the games.

So here they are:

Ravens: I jsut love McNair and he seems like he can take the Ravens far.
Seahawks: ’nuff said
Bears: They got some bite and some claws, sovaldi you can tell they are hungry
Colts: They really are one of the best offensive teams in the league but I still dont see them winning the Superbowl. I feel they are sitll missing something, I hope they find it year cause.

Everytime I pass by this ad I can’t see them as some super team. The way they are there in a group, pills the gay on the left with his arm crossed. Also the mixed race and ages of the group give it that great demographic factor.

They are ready to bust down fatwas, recite Koran and be the extra people for your group prayer

I know it is sick to think about Taco Bell with their grade D meat and the soggy tortillas not to mention the exceptional staff. Yet you know all this when you go order the food, health it is in your mind and you somehow either deny or accept it and go with it. My favorites were the 3 soft taco combo, or the mexican pizza. Wait I think there was this combo that was the mexican pizza with like 2 soft tacos, damn that was good. Sometimes when I felt a bit zesty I’d order the 7 layer burrito without layers 3 and 5.

Then to top this all off I’d get a whole bunch of hot sauce, you know the stuff the ones that would remove the gunk and stuff from pennies and just smear it all inside the stuff. Secretly hoping that it would kill any of the ebola, botcholism or salmonella that may be in the food.

mmm I really do miss some Taco Bell.

This trip is a vacation of sorts to get a change of scenery and relax and I can’t sleep. It is odd. I am in a good bed, cure went to bed reasonably late last night and I was up at 7 with around 4-5 hours of sleep and this is after spending all day out and about starting from 8:30.

I guess there is that feeling of just comfort and really I can’t explain how relaxing it feels to be here, yet you also have this urge to go visit and explore around Bahrain. It really is a great country the little corner we been seeing and experiencing. Stallion and I both agree that it is so much better than Dubai. There is this sense of expansion and development but it feels natural, you can see it and feel it even with the people here. They just seem more comfortable in their own city compared to the feeling of Dubai’s hustle and bustle.

Mahmood was great enough to take us on a tour of Bahrain yesterday giving us and showing us a more personal view of Bahrain. Took us to the BIC which is an amazing place, I really didnt expect it to be that big or that well designed. I always saw snippets and more personal pictures, but being there is really a sight to see. I can’t wait to go there again and race.

Yes, race. I got to see the Caterham (the H is silent) here in Bahrain and meet with the owner who was a friend of Mahmood and and get in the car and learn more about its history and the racing team they have in Bahrain. They have races with Caterham in Bahrain and its a long fun tournament and really plan to attend and get my way around the track. I figure this way I can get a feel for the car before I get it and really understand it.

Oh the tiredness, resuscitator we arrived home around 10 last night. It was a much easier drive back cause the Saudi borders wasn’t as crowded as the way there. That is what is the kiler on these road trips waiting at the border for you turn in line and then its the customs check.

Like Bahrain, the guy was asking me if I had any knives or daggers with me, and was quesitoning why we had cameras and tripod with us. I explained to him we are “tourists” we are visiting and going to take pictures and such. Yet that question about knives and daggers really put me off.

Then you have Saudi where its just a mess. You got 4 lanes of cars coming from passport control going to this one line for customs check and thats where the mess happens. You wait and wait for your turn and then get stuck behind a car that will take forever.

Kuwait on the other hand is a dream. It took us 5 minutes to do passports and customs! It was great. It is the icing in the cake after that long drive and getting that service!

This morning I woke up like ussualy at 7am feeling totally fine in my brain and upper body, then my legs protested. They were in throbbing pain and weren’t ready to move. After 4+ hours of driving I know how those cosmonauts felt when they return from long trips around the Earth away from gravity.

The trip was great, I have a post in draft from yesterday about some stuff, will post more about the trip and the Bahrain bloggers oon.

I been having this crazy craving for black coffee even since I been back from Bahrain. It is really strange. It really been bothering my brain and functions. It started on Saturday morning with just a little tinge when I saw the coffee pot at home. I was thinking “oh I’ll take a thermos cup of it with me so I can drink on the way to work”. Then of course I totally forgot with the push and rush to get to work and decided to brew me a pot when I get to work, prescription and of course work takes over and I totally forget. Which led me to feel really angst and really out of it.

Then Sunday it started the same thing with me totally forgetting to get a cup when leaving to work and not making one at work, but I did go to Coffee Bean and get a mocha latte there, but that really didn’t work. It quieted the urge a bit, but didn’t quiet hit it.

This led to an icky headache that lasted most of the day, even with the Casper’s X-Presso Yourself in the afternoon didn’t even get close to that craving, and just made my head ache almost worse.

Even now at 2am I am thinking about it, my mouth is even salivating at the thought of it. I know if I go down to the kitchen and brew me a pot I might as well just shoot myself in the head rather than turn to a zombie tomorrow. Also it isn’t what I want. The more I been thinking about it the more I been wanting a certain type of coffee. It has to be either from the airport Cinnabon with their Seattle Best Coffee, or from Johnny Rockets.

Luckily my schedule tomorrow will have in Salmiya area where I can my coffee fix.

I have issues with bluetooth headsets. I really do enjoy them when I am in the car or at work for it really great to have your hands free to drive, surgery
and write notes respectively. Yet my main issue with them is I really hate wearing my headset when I am walking around or with people and it is not in use. It feels awkward and also in my opinion rude and ugly. The only options for it is to either use one of those necklace type holders or put it in your pocket, no rx
which makes it cumbersome to remove and well use.

Well I have a solution, a watch type system. Basically you have this bracelet that allows for the bluetooth headset to remain in an area for quick access and some headsets have a screen on them to show you who is calling so you can even get that information from it. One other feature is that it can also function as a watch.

This way you can simply wear it around your wrist as a watch and as soon as you receive a call you just remove it and place it in your ear then when done return it.

Can’t sleep. Not sure why I am awake beyond this time and not even feeling a little bit tired. I drank laban, generic went out for some air, diagnosis adjusted the AC and still cant sleep. I am currently filling this void by starting to watch Project Runway Season 2. I am on Ep 5 and think will stop on this one.

I been to the airport 3 times today. At 3 differnt ocassions morning noon & night. For 3 types of people.

A friend been having a rough time at work and wanted to give them some words of encouragement. Wanted to use the regular “have a great day”, weight loss but that doesn’t cut it anymore. So did a quick thesaurus look up and found the word magnificent.

So everyone:

Have a MAGNIFICENT Day!

If just sounds empowering, share it with everyone go tell them to have MAGNIFICENT Day!

Most of us have seen the George Galloway erectile ,31200-galloway_060806,00.html”>SKY News interview yet before that he was on theUS Senate being questioned on his involvement with Iraq and the Oil for Food Program

Some ofGeorge Galloway quotes from the 47 minute hearing:

“Now I know that standards have slipped in the last few years in Washington, but for a lawyer you are remarkably cavalier with any idea of justice. I am here today but last week you already found me guilty. You traduced my name around the world without ever having asked me a single question, without ever having contacted me, without ever written to me or telephoned me, without any attempt to contact me whatsoever. And you call that justice?

I have met Saddam Hussein exactly the same number of times as Donald Rumsfeld met him. The difference is that Donald Rumsfeld met him to sell him guns and to give him maps the better to target those guns. I met him to try and bring about an end to sanctions, suffering and war, and on the second of the two occasions, I met him to try and persuade him to let Dr Hans Blix and the United Nations weapons inspectors back into the country – a rather better use of two meetings with Saddam Hussein than your own Secretary of State for Defense made of his.

In the Middle East we like to give nick names to our phones and cars, cialis 40mg like the old Mercedes in Egypt was called the Shabah (Stealth) for its angular design, audiologist or the Nokia 6600 in Saudi was called the Panda for its round shape and the black and white motif.

Well in Iraq they have names for their phones too:
Nokia 3660/ The Allawi: For is resemblance to the former Prime Minster.

Nokia N90/ Apache: Since it’s top swivels like a rotor blade.

There is one named Tank but I have no idea which phone it is.

I met him to try and bring about an end to sanctions, suffering and war, and on the second of the two occasions, I met him to try and persuade him to let Dr Hans Blix and the United Nations weapons inspectors back into the country – a rather better use of two meetings with Saddam Hussein than your own Secretary of State for Defense made of his.

and doesn’t stop for 47 minutes.

After the events that occured this weekend in the UK and the latest security salvo on flying it has got me thinking that flying will totally be different now if they continue no allowing carry on luggage on planes.

This small factor will cause huge delays and even trouble for the majority of air travels who are businessmen. They live and die with their carry on. I avoid carrying a bigger bag when I travel cause they just kill my mobility, and speed. There is a joy in getting off a plane and walking straight to your car outside. Or even waiting in the airport and you can open up your carry on and access a change of clothes, laptop and be able to continue on your day.

So what is the future of all this? Private jets.

If they delays and troubles are going to continue business travelers will start looking for alternative traveling. One that I have seen is a transport van converted to an office. It contains a full office envoirnment of internet, fax, printer etc. As well as a couch and some chairs. It can accomodate 3-4 people and gives them the ability to work and plan on route to their destination without the delays of security checks.

Yet the main thing that will suceed now is private jets. They are becoming cheaper, and easier to rent out for those quick trips. They are able to leave when you want and bypass the security and other airport hassles. You arrive to your destination quicker, better and on your terms.

So what about the pepole who can’t afford to spend extra on renting thier own private jet, well thanks to internet you can offer your empty seats and be able to sell them off. For example I am going to Dubai for a quick day trip at 8am in Kuwait and rented out a whole jet. I can put online the time I am departing and arriving and offer the remaining seats.

eBay of traveling

I been to the airport 3 times today. At 3 differnt ocassions morning noon & night. For 3 types of people.

A friend been having a rough time at work and wanted to give them some words of encouragement. Wanted to use the regular “have a great day”, weight loss but that doesn’t cut it anymore. So did a quick thesaurus look up and found the word magnificent.

So everyone:

Have a MAGNIFICENT Day!

If just sounds empowering, share it with everyone go tell them to have MAGNIFICENT Day!

eBay of traveling
A couple weeks ago I was at Virgin Marina and saw a great deal on a Panasonic 42″ LCD with a stand and the speakers + DVD player for 600KD. So after checking online and other prices in the market for competing products I decided to go pick it up. I go to Virgin a week later find out that promotion is over. No problem I’ll just head to the local agent and get it there.

So today I head over there and ask about the promotion. The sales person there was telling me in the ruddest manner that that promotion is over and it was Virgin since April. I go to Virgin a bunch of times since April and never noticed this promotion, asthma yet what got to me was his tone as if I was an idiot for not noticing it or acting quick enough.

So I ask is there any other promotion or discount that is the same. He quickly said “no that was it and there is no other discounts or promotions”. This got to me more and was like “wtf”. Is this a sales person? I even loudly commented to my friend next to me “this guy is a salary employee he doesn’t want to sell”. I mean come on, be nice to me, make me want to buy an TV from you. Dont ust brush me off like that. Tell me that you got a newer version that is better, or that if I come back next week there will be a new promotion and offers. Just ignoring my request is not the way to generate a sale.

I dont think I will by buying a Panasonic TV now. After seeing how they treat a customer I am afraid to wonder how their customer service is post sale.

You’re older than you’ve ever been and now you’re even older.
You’re older than you’ve ever been and now you’re even older.
In these troubled times we always look for something else to entertain us like the lives of celebrities and such like The Superficial or Go Fug Yourself, ambulance but sometimes you want more.

Well I found it at : Princess Sparkle Pony’s Photo Blog its slogan says it all “I keep track of Condoleezza’s hairdo so you don’t have to.

Doesn’t that make you feel all warm inside?

    song, or album.
  4. A travel destination.
  5. A person.
  6. A game.
  7. A name.
  8. A website, blog, online destination.
  9. A love
  10. An idea.

You dont have to recommend each one, just what ever you can think of.

Super Long Feelings Movie

Taking my brain to get fixed.

Taking my brain to get fixed.

I just came back from watching the latest Superman movie, there Superman Returns and have to say it was just way to long and way too many feelings and just didn’t make me feel all warm and gooey inside.

There something about movies involving super heroes or any hero for that matter. You should always leave the movie theater saying “__Hero Name_ KICKS ASS”. Think about it, when you left the Batman Begins you were saying Batman KICKS ASS, when you left Spider-man, you said Spider-man KICKS ASS,

Cause when the final credits starts rolling, you have this feelings of amazement, admiration and respect for our hero.

Superman sadly gave me none of those feelings at the end. All I felt was like screw this I am going home. Which is sad cause the characters were great and even the beginning of the movie had so much promise and options but the producers/writers/director just let all these feelings get in the way and forgot that we came to see Superman kick some ass.

The only hope I had at the end of the movie was they left lots of options for a sequel and hoping they do it a lot better than this one.
