Purg’s post this morning talking about something called “mandates, bronchi and wanted to know what he meant so looked up some definitions that might be of interest.

  • In Christian theology, a mandate is an order given from God that must be obeyed without question.
  • Instruction, order, permission to allow or permit something to happen.
  • A contract by which one party agrees to perform services for another without payment.

An order giving from God? Could that mean the holy penguin like some sort of saving angel?

Oh then I found this article on “man dates”. Seems the American male has gone super homophone or just really gay. According to the article that men after leaving college have a hard time getting together in a setting where it doesn’t concern sports, beer or women and forgot how to hang out with other guys.

Some American friends were confused and weirded out by how can I go shopping with another male.

Well what ever it is that the American male needs to do to get his balls back, cause those feminazis have done a great job of ripping them off.

Saw Batman finally! I feel mixed about the movie I liked it, and also had some issues with it. The timeline stuff annoyed me and characters. Thats mostly cause I read the comic and when you been reading a story for a couple years you get annoyed when they start changing stuff for movies. The action was great, but I really wanted to see Christian Bale act more without the costume. It was nice to see a comic character with more focus on his personal stuff then them running around in tights and beating people up. Cause at the end its all about the killer origin story.

Been messing with my blog and theme currently, treat moving to a 1+2 style theme I like how it feels will be working more on as the day goes by. I think I am trouble though since I used SVN to update my WordPress on 2by4.org to the latest version I kinda got the super evil development version. This is what it says at the bottom of my admin page:

Will be working on it slow and easy, more about
plan to have it as a nice simple page that will capture all my things, my del.icio.us links, Flickr pics and thinking about setting up a wiki, and personal aggregator all on 2by4.org. Lots of little ideas coming to fruitition.

Well have nto fear OtterBox is here. They produce protective cases for iPods that are water proof and shock proof! And for $50 its a real steal for this summers uses.

Tonight I perfected the skills in avoiding traffic in Kuwait and getting there in the quickest and easiest way possible. I had dinner at a friends at 8:30pm and left Sharq in Kuwait city at 8. I knew that Faheel road will be busy especially around the 4th ring due to the construction they are doing there. So I took the first ring down to Malek Fahed and drove all the way to Mishref, audiologist drove through Mishref/Bayan back on Faheel and cut right to Majed Al-Aqsa street and down to Rumathiya. I arrived at 8:20.

A friend of mine who was also left Sharq at 8 didn’t arrive until around 845. He took the Faheel road and was just stuck there. He said it was just horrible. I can bet, generic when taking Malek Fahed and passed by Hawalli Bu Khaldoon street entrance was just packed. There must have been 2 lanes of cars about a kilometer long just waiting to get in there. I pitied those people who were going home and had to face this everyday.

The dinner was nice people coming in were late, one was driving all the way from chaleyhat. It was fun meeting up all together, we haven’t done that in a while.

I am the company’s IT, capsule Marketing, Adveritsing and any other department heads, one of the things I deal by having this title is people who call and want to sell me stuff. I deal with advertisers nicely enough that they have stopped harrasing me. I recall once 3 different Yellow Pages came to my office and each saying they are the offical one.

Today I got a phone call from someone asking the IT department. He was a “solutions provider” in terms of web development, and other things and just recieved some new agencies and asked if we had a web site. I said yes and that we use WordPress for its maintance, and asked “did you know wordpress” he replied ofcourse it is a good software and some other bullshit so he doesn’t prove stupid. Then he said something about development and technology, and started going on my diatribe on opensource and recent Apple developments and how Longhorn is delayed.

I ussually do this with the people who call, I find it a ncie way to vent my annoyances with what is going on and they have to listen to me hoping that they will get a sale. I did this once from some guy selling advertising space in the Eksan guide, and bitched about howcan I trust this government body when they are people still waiting for homes and that ones with wasta get it quicker. That was a good phone call.

I really been getting a kick out of Google Maps and Google Earth. I like Earth for it gives me the fun of Maps but without having to wait since it downloads everything and stores it on the computer for later viewing.

So for more fun I can now install Mobile GMaps, surgery
which will give me Google Maps on my mobile phone! So with the support of my navigation system in my car to give me lat/lon I can pop them in to my phone and see what it looks like from on top!

Another cool thing I plan to be doing is tagging my photos on Flickr with lat/lon so that people can see them on Earth and do searches of that area.

I tell you this now, the next big thing for digital cameras is not going to be more megapixels but a built in gps, or some bluetooth system to access GPS data and embed that information in your photos. I tell you its all going to be meta in the future.

move my tabs around between other windows and workspaces.

If you have a Mac give them a try, they also make some other great software like Omni Graffle, and Outliner.

I am so lazy today, just doing nothing much of anything, youth health woke up for Friday prayer zoned out during the khotba like I usually zoned in when the guy started couple words that caught my ears, then zoned out again when he was still not making any sense and repeating the same stuff he says every Friday.

Saw this kid who had the cutest fro. It was like one of mine circa 1980s I was impressed nice and fluffy, big curls that kept it up and well rounded. I mentioned to my brother after the prayers and he said it was a friend of his brothers and then he popped up and got to meet his fro kid brother told me not to cut it and keep it pimpy, and I had one much larger than his.

It was kinda hot and we walked to the mosque and really didn’t feel like walking back so we stopped by a friends house that was near by so he can drive us home. That just turned to one big trap and got sucked in to his basement watching college football (OSU-ND) it was a classic game buy OSU were pretty good, then watched some other random shows on Orbit and didn’t leave till we got hungry and went home got Texas chicken and just watched more TV.

I am such a lazy lover, really into that song by Brazilian Girls, making copies for my car so I can hand out to people, going to make this the official summer album one way or another.

Going to get out of the house now, get in my car and just drive out of the 500m radius I have stayed in today. Make a couple phone call and wander around most likely come back early and watch Blade Runner..

Finally done with my ISO:9001:2000 Lead Auditor class. It was a great time and very educational, treatment
really taught me a lot about the ISO philosophy and the reasons behind it.I always thought it was about paperwork and other random documentation but thats just a small part of it. The best way I can explain it is that is about getting quality from your work to better serve your customers. I know that sounds generic and silly but when you get in to it, plague
