Orbit has some pretty good fall lineup that I really want to watch
on their America Plus channel.
One is Everwood about a single dad and his 2 kids a
n angsty teenage son and a young daughter, website
moving to Everwood, help
CO. It is in the middle of no where and
well he is starting his new life after the death of his wife. So what I like about it well the dialou
ge is really good. It has comebacks and those quick zips that make it entertaining and have you chuckl
e and the creative cast of charchters. You can really see a story here that just starting and seems to
have a lot of promise.
The other one that I just saw is Dead Like Me. I he
ard about this show alot but never seen it til now. It is about a girl who dies when she is 18 and now
a collector of souls before they die. The show kinda reminds me of “6 Feet Under”, hygiene
with the death and
the dysfunctional family part but what makes it different is that it takes itself lightly and is fun.
I also like the small paranormal stuff that goes on in the show, on the how and why things happen.
Two very distinct shows. Everwood clean cut and all about family and living in the wilderness of Color
ado. Dead Like Me with cussing and living in the city of Seattle. But both deal with death, one the de
ath of a mother, the other of a daughter so both has some philosphical talk around them. So if you got
Orbit try to catch those shows.

I am so sick of the port authority in Kuwait these guys are so bad and horrible even the security is f
ake as anything I ever seen and I won’t even go into details on the crappy way they do their searches
on containers, viagra sale because it is simply remove everything break and open everything and then put it back i
n.
I spent 4 hours running around trying to get all the signature and paperwork ready for the inspector t
o come and supervise me remove some samples from my containers. But he didn’t have time since “they we
re busy” and simply say “come back at 5”. I just busted my ass doing all this and you give me that rep
ly.
You know what they were “busy with” trying to do simple math. They had these razor blades that were il
legally imported (some how razor blades are the new hip thing to smuggle in to Kuwait). So they were w
riting a report and trying to figure our how to calculate it, order do they mention it was 6 large boxes, or
that there was 20 smaller boxes in each of the large boxes. Or that each of the smaller boxes had 10
sheets, and that the 10 sheets had 30 packets! They couldn’t calculate the total quantity I mean how h
ard is it to multiply! This to them was more important than helping a Kuwaiti businessman make some ho
nest money in Kuwait. When I was trying to help them with this, they told me to sit down, so I just st
ormed out of there since it would be a waste of time trying to reason with them.
Then there is the amazing security there. In the process of getting the signatures and paperwork I had
to go inside the port area. Since there was bumper to bumper traffic from the inspection point to the
main gate and I was in a rush to get the samples before 1, we said lets try the side one. Going there
the guard said we needed a permit and wouldn’t let us in. So instead of waiting in the car for traffi
c to clear up we walked to the main gate. I don’t think traffic even moved 50 meters for us to reach o
ur destination. Where we just simply walked into the port area. They never checked for our ids or aske
d for our papers or even looked at us! I could have walked back to the guard who denied us and tapped
his shoulder.
Just lots of crap and annoyance for nothing. I think they should just close down the Shuwaik port. The
re is no need for it there, not many ships stop there, and if they do the people and the facilities ca
n not handle the load. Then there is the fact that it is the free trade zone with shopping areas, and
mixing consumers with trailers doesn’t work.
At the end the mandoob went there at 5 and left at 7. I really feel sorry for him at times when he has
to go deal with these people. He tells me stories of their incompetence and their attitude at times.
This is why they are no business in Kuwait and corruption is rampant in the government. It is just a p
ain to do anything and some people dont find it worth it.
Whats Wrong With this Picture?
Terrorists Threaten Kuwait
Well my view of this let them try it. The Islamics have taken over a religon to protect and extend the
ir power and use it as a form of control over others and sadly we have been tolerating this for a long
time. Now that they are threatening us with “kill[ing] the bitches in the shopping malls”. They final
ly crossed the line and threatening our family and friends. The crackdown is coming not just from the
government but the people as well. We are sick and tired of their crap and not going to taking it anym
ore.
Guess how many bagage handlers
I am so impressed on this editing to make this clip it is really amazing how they just lined everythin
g up and fit so seamlessly you it is really worth the download time

This is just half of them. We seriously have an excess of these workers. We are like the welfare state
to 3rd world nations.

I really never understood the Starbucks thing in Kuwait. This whole lets go get coffee and stay there
for a couple hours drinking more coffee not talk with the person next to you much but just bluetooth a
nd look at the people around you. Just seems strange.
I am used to the coffee places with real atmosphere where you go and actually have some discussion, hospital me
et new people and where the decor wasn’t standard around the world. There is a sense of individuality
there. While Starbucks gives you the feeling of conformity.
I am not sure what the reason is, look but it could be that Starbucks has addicts since they put more caffeine in their drinks than any other ret
ailer. that it creates these addicts that have to come and get their fix.
For me, if I do want to get coffee I got for Casper & Gambini, it tastes a lot better and it is a much
more comfier atmosphere than the craziness of Starbucks and the ones at Marina.

I am back doing mobloging again. I stopped the first time
cause I got a bit busy and was annoyed that I had to email my enteries and only one at a time. I
tired getting some other system to work with MT via mail but they were a pain.
And I have been using Azure for simple text blogging
and it does a good job and it is cross platform for Nokia and Palm, store but I wanted to send pics to my bl

So now I found Teazels Blog Photo Diary that works great with my
SE P910. It has some issues when I send lots of pics, price but I think that is more a MTC GPRS problem, and
that I cant set categories when I send the entry. Overall I am pretty content with it.
So expect to see some random pics between my posts. And if you are intrested in other moblogs in Kuwai

Went to Kon Tiki at the SAS Radisson Hotel with Purg, capsule Q and Bo Ghazi last Tuesday
It was a nice get together and stuff the food was decent except for something that I will leave Q to discuss. It wasn’t anything spectacular in taste and flavor but it was different from most of the stuff you would find in in Kuwait.

Found this tidbit: The Travails of the Kuwait MOT. He does explain the ba
sic science to Kuwait roads and the little nuances of it.
[I]t is estimated that in Kuwait City alone there are more than 120 auto accidents daily.
That is a lot of broken bumpers, salve
split wheel hubs and shattered glass on the roadways.
One thing he got wrong, was he mentioned that the fences were to keep the camels, and goats from the
road. When they are really made to stop the pedestrians to cross 4 lanes of highway. These are the peo
ple that I hate, they cut the fences and run across the highway where the average speed is 120 kmh the
n you see them cross the barrier and wait for 30 minutes for their chance to run. When just 100m away
is a nice pedestrian bridge that woud be quick and safe.
There should be a law that if a pedestrian is near a pedestrian bridge by 500m and crossing the highwa
y, they are fair game to be run over. I am sure that would cut down on those super jay walkers.

Lots of my friends get lost in Kuwait, ask since they are so many way to get to one place as well as the random shortcuts people pick up over their time here. So here is a good street map of Kuwait. I also have a larger scan of it thats 1.5mb if anyone needs it.
Update: Forzaq8 has posted in the comments this amazing website Baladia – Kuwait Electronic Guide, viagra sale which is Kuwait’s Mapquest. It is a bit buggy but it really is amazing. It lists schools, mosques, commercial areas, street names and etc. It even gives you search options and direction and shortest routes between two points. Only problem I have with it is that most of the features only work on IE, but I dont mind running IE for this page!
Update 2: I do not have the larger scanner of the file. I had a computer error and the file was deleted.

Lots of my friends get lost in Kuwait, ask since they are so many way to get to one place as well as the random shortcuts people pick up over their time here. So here is a good street map of Kuwait. I also have a larger scan of it thats 1.5mb if anyone needs it.

Was just talking to my friend who just came from the States and is used to the driving and manners ove
r there and can’t deal with the drivers here. Saying “they all have road rage! we would get stuck in 2
hour traffic and be ok about it”. This got me saying “yeah in the States you have good radio stations
, find telling you where the traffic is, keeping you entertained and laughing and your mind off the traffic
“.
Which is true, there you got choices in terms of music, radio personalities, talk or sports. There is
something for everyone. So when your stuck in traffic or on the road you dont mind, because the DJ jus
t played your favorite song, or made a good joke. or the commentary on last nights game is keeping you
mind away from the traffic. While here in Kuwait you got personalities like Dr. La Bouche AKA DLB.
This is the one thing that I can say is dfferent about Kuwait and the US, the radio. We have the same
or even better roads, same cars, and lets not talk about driving style. Every place you go has horribl
e drivers, this is something also common. Yet the only thing different we have is the radio.
Like I mentioned before I dont listen to 99.7. I found great replacements. But I would much rather listen to another Kuwaiti radio
station that would rival 99.7 and create some changes in their line up. Hopefully with the creation o
f Rai TV in Kuwait, a new private television station. A private radio station may not be that far off.

Well seems the government is ready to start the Bubyan port project. This will be a very big thing in Kuwait and it has been something in Kuwait’s history for long time. The Ottoman’s, the British, pharmacy Iraq, and the US have been persuing this for ages., since it will be a gateway to the Gulf.
This project is going to last over 30 years and be a huge multi-stage construction process. Which is
strange since according to After doing some more searches I found this Arab Times Article on the Bubyan Project and the natural concerns there.
“One of the rare breeds of birds like the Crab Plover has1 , 600pairs breeding on Bubiyan. The next biggest population of these species is about 40 pairs.” He said there are about 18 other species which breed only on Bubiyan Island. These include falcons, flamingos and gulls. “Most of the world’s population of birds breed here making it the most import breeding ground in the whole Western Paleoartic – UK, Central and Western Europe, Turkey and the rest of the Middle East,” Dr Loughland emphasized.
And Bubyan also meets 4 out of the 6 criterias to make it a protected habitat and finding a place that just meet 1 of those criteria is rare.
I hope the government is planning is right and not destroy our natural wildlife.

According to this article: Bahrain, anaemia Kuwait move to boost jobs for nationals
The prime minister challenged reports that find an 11 per cent unemployment rate for Kuwaitis.
“We have no unemployment. The military and the national guard need every unemployed Kuwaiti.”
I dont know, viagra sale but isn’t the checks for the national gaurd and military also paid out by the government?
The article also states that Bahrain and Kuwait are working on improving the economy to stimulate the
job market and reduce the number of public workers being hired and “encouraging” the private sector to
hire them. If they mean the Kuwaitization process then we are screwed. The Kuwaitization process doesn’t work. It forces companies to hire the lowest common denominator. Som
eone who is willing to get a low pay as long as he doesn’t have to work or show up. Ask any large comp
any and you’ll be sure to see that they have some Kuwaitis that are just listed in the paperwork, neve
r show up, and don’t contribute anything. This is even the problem they are facing in Bahrain.I dont know how the government plans to do stimulate the job market, but my idea is they should invest
in Kuwaiti companies and encourage Kuwaiti start up companies. Pretty much be a venture capitalist. W
e have lots Kuwaiti with some amazingly smart ideas and dreams and just need some incentive to give t
hem a go a head.I also dont think they should penalize companies for not hiring Kuwaitis. Instead of going to the gove
rment slush fund, it would go to a privately controlled scholarship fund with no attachments public or
private sector. And What ever the company puts in the government matches. By the company giving this
money: they list the qualifications and majors they are looking for and will hire them once they gradu
ate. This is a win-win situtation, the goverment is hiring high school drop outs, and niether are comp
anies. Both are contributing to the overall level of education in Kuwait, and there is a process where
the newly graduated have access to jobs. This also means cutting lots of the red tape needed to open a company in Kuwait and any government tra
nsactions that occur. This will reduce costs for companies and encourage them to grow.

Which is
strange since according to After doing some more searches I found this Arab Times Article on the Bubyan Project and the natural concerns there.“One of the rare breeds of birds like the Crab Plover has1 , 600pairs breeding on Bubiyan.

According to this article: Bahrain, anaemia Kuwait move to boost jobs for nationalsThe prime minister challenged reports that find an 11 per cent unemployment rate for Kuwaitis.

I got like 1 hour of sleep maybe. Going ot catch it all up in the planes on
the way back.So extremely tired been not eating right lately, just missing out on meals and resorting to just 1. Bo
dy just feels out of whack and cant wait to get home and get some rest. It has been a long trip, every
day up at 7am and to bed at 3am. It is about itme I got home.I am really annoyed with this spanish keyboard. It is better than the french and some other europeans
since I dont have to go and change letters but the symbols are placed in strange locations./ is shift 7
– is um next to right shift key
: is above the .Those are ones I use the most especially the /. I wonder if peoples use of computers and internet coul
d be linked to the type of keyboard they use. I mean having the / above the 7 is a pain moves your fin
gers away from the keys. The : isn´t so bad it is atleast close. I dont ever know where the backslash is oh wait found it it is
next to the 1. Weird I have to hit Alt-Gr to place it. That alone could have cut the spanish use of d
os and *nix based system by a couple years.Anyways I am just rambling with my lack of sleep. To each their. For all I know spanish people on the
keyboard could be lightning and dont have that huge a hassle with typing. But I do believe the is a
pain.

Lots of my friends get lost in Kuwait, ask since they are so many way to get to one place as well as the random shortcuts people pick up over their time here. So here is a good street map of Kuwait. I also have a larger scan of it thats 1.5mb if anyone needs it.Update: Forzaq8 has posted in the comments this amazing website Baladia – Kuwait Electronic Guide, viagra sale which is Kuwait’s Mapquest.

So at the airport, discount
at 5am, ailment
But I do believe the is a
pain.
Back home. Unpacked and got sooo much stuff to read, ambulance my books, magazines and other lit that I got from
Europe, then I also got my Amazon stuff. My bro didn’t recognize me with my new haircut he wasn’t exp
ecting it, and it does look different, but really something that I been craving for a while. This was the first trip without my iPod and really dont need it that much. There are tons of things t
o entertain me when I travel, my lit, and the people and well the sound of the places that I am. We re
ally miss out on stuff when we disconnect ourselves from the world. We’ll see how I am on the next tri
p. One thing I do plan to get is a radio attachment for my P910. I love listening to the radio and wha
t other way to know the what the current musical taste of the region. After walking my ass off in Madrid I need to get me a Foretex of Forerunner so I know
where I been and can keep track of it.One thing that I can not travel without anymore is my Moleskine< /a>. I have the Volant series and it is the best thing to carry with you when you travel and in life r
eally. Jotting down little notes, directions and other random things. I already filled up my first one
and now on my second and going to order some more so I dont run out.I do have a P910 and all sorts of tech, but at the end of the day I love paper. Paper is special, its
simple and it works.I am tired but want to go out, need to get a shave. I dont shave at home or have a shaving kit, always
at the barber. Really nothing better than getting a nice shave with a razor you feel so fresh and smo
oth afterwards.I need more shelves..

Was just talking to my friend who just came from the States and is used to the driving and manners ove

hour traffic and be ok about it”. This got me saying “yeah in the States you have good radio stations
, find telling you where the traffic is, keeping you entertained and laughing and your mind off the traffic
“.Which is true, there you got choices in terms of music, radio personalities, talk or sports. There is
something for everyone. So when your stuck in traffic or on the road you dont mind, because the DJ jus
t played your favorite song, or made a good joke. or the commentary on last nights game is keeping you
mind away from the traffic. While here in Kuwait you got personalities like Dr. La Bouche AKA DLB.This is the one thing that I can say is dfferent about Kuwait and the US, the radio. We have the same
or even better roads, same cars, and lets not talk about driving style. Every place you go has horribl
e drivers, this is something also common. Yet the only thing different we have is the radio.Like I mentioned before I dont listen to 99.7.

Which is
strange since according to After doing some more searches I found this Arab Times Article on the Bubyan Project and the natural concerns there.“One of the rare breeds of birds like the Crab Plover has1 , 600pairs breeding on Bubiyan.

Found A History Of Punctuation via boingboing, this
good history read, but what it triggered was a childhood memmory of this show that used the interrobang‽
Does anyone remeber it? It was these two boys who would travel around Europe looking and that sign would be located everywhere. I think it had something to do about a secret society or something.
Anyone?

So at the airport, discount
at 5am, ailment

Which is
strange since according to After doing some more searches I found this Arab Times Article on the Bubyan Project and the natural concerns there.“One of the rare breeds of birds like the Crab Plover has1 , 600pairs breeding on Bubiyan.

Anyone?

hem a go a head.I also dont think they should penalize companies for not hiring Kuwaitis.
I am in Spain, pathopsychology
lived here without internet for a week, troche
in Madrid currently. Seems like my past visit h
ere I am only allowed to be here under 24 hours. It has been a good business trip learned a lot, generic and m
et some really great people. Have now connections up and down south america! Cant wait to go there and
hang out with those guys again. Seems when ever I am in these things I always hang out with the south
americans and they always get in me into trouble.I need to learn Spanish it really is tough here not knowing spanish. Everytime they talk to me, or I w
ant to tlak to them I revert to either french or italian, luckily I haven´t started talking german to
them. Then I´d really get into trouble. The place we were staying at was a monestary that was redone and redecorated to be a hotel. It was jus
t amazing seeing the old with the new we were all highly impressed. It took me a while to figure out w
hat made it so catching andtogether. Well the building structure was old stone, and the new stuff was
very minimilistic glass, metal and wood. Which is all natural items so it all just melded together. Th
ere was no plastic. Very smart and worked amazingly. Hopefully I´ll put pics up soon with all my other
ones.Once I goto madrid and to my hotel (near airport) I change and went straight to the the city and to th
e museum. They didn´t have anything new from last time I was there, but it was a free admission so wen
t in to check it out again, and visit the libary. There I got some more magazines and found this guide
to Spain for us busy people who try to be hip and cool but have no time and worry about work and list
s all these places where you should go, eat, be seen and stuff.I been sick of my hair lately, just looking at the mirror and going ugh, so this while flipping though
it. I saw a salon that is the best in Madrid and I knew I had to go there. So grabbed a taxi cause if
I took the metro or walked I knew I wouldn´t get there. And glad I did. They were full but someone wa
s a no show so I got squeezed in! As soon as I was going to the seat some girl and wanted to get in. I
was lucky by mere minutes! So now I get this great haircut, I pretty much told the guy go at it I dont care what you do. So he bu
sted out the shaver and went at it. I´ll leave it a suprise for you guys when I get home.So in my crazy quest for culture I got my magazines, random cds that these old guys recommened to me

at 5am, ailment

Does anyone remeber it? It was these two boys who would travel around Europe looking and that sign would be located everywhere. I think it had something to do about a secret society or something.
Anyone?

We got it easy, adiposity
we have satelite and over 100s of channels, pestilence
we
got the internet and access to all sorts of information and boring stuff to keep us entertained. We e
ven have cars to get out of where we are and visit someone else.
So imagine these people who I dont think even had gas lamps. They would sit around and make
shadow puppets for entertainment!
Big thanks to the Gutenberg Project for archiving and sharing t
