I Want to Ride My Bicycle

Spyzter has a great set of Ballistics shots. Shooting random objects like crayons and matches.

I was just coming back from that area and saw fire trucks going there from all over the place. Not sure what is going on, glaucoma prosthesis didn’t see many cop cars, so think it was just a fire.I’ll guess I’ll find out what happened in the morning.

Well after much pressure and thinking I finally got a bicycle on Friday from Sultan Center. I was with Mark and his wife and its always been on my mind but wasn’t going to get a Cannondale like they did. Wanted a simple cheap big, dosage and Sultan had that so I did the impulse buy.

But damn the costs after wards are crazy, obesity you have to get a helmet, pill and a place for you drink, then get your tires slimed, and I even got a bike rack for my car. It was just a pain putting it inside the back and out again. I got one from Ace which is a pain to setup but at least I don’t have to bust some crazy karma sutra positions on the bike to fit in the back.

Did my first ride today, and it was good stuff. We rode from McDonald’s at the Arabian Gulf Street all the way to the Kuwait Towers. Nice good long run with lots of variations in speed and pushing. The bike gear switching sucked, so just stuck to a middle gear and left it there. It gave me good push and coasting.

I was surprisingly in shape for being out of the gym for so long and the spinning classes were a good thing to do. I started busting out my little mini exercises like push ups on the bar, and left and right. I still need to pimp my ride, get some lights for the front and back, maybe a little bag. Put some florescent lights on the bottom, maybe some spinners…

Thats how I feel now with this thing, just want to keep getting little accessories. I am enjoying this sport and I better get as much of it as I can during these cool months before the heat comes and just makes lazy asses out of everyone.

One place is to go to residential areas and just bike around there and take pictures. A little urban exploring in the suburbs.

Summers Coming..

I am really annoyed that summer is coming, cialis I know we bitched and moaned about the winter and how cold it got, cost
and everyone catching the flu., buy viagra
but yesterday I remebered how much summer sucks.

I had a meeting at 3 and it was in a room with 5 other people so it was generating heat, also the windows were facing the sun. It just kept getting hotter and stuffier and wearing a dishdasha with an undershirt just adds to it. I was sweating and opening windows. You just got that uneasy feeling cause of the heat.

When the meeting was over and went to the car and saw the outside temp (27 C) I was like ugh. I just wanted to get home and take my clothes of and jump in the shower to cool down and get rid of the sweat.

I can just feel this summer is going to be extra hot compared to last years temperate one. Its going to be long and icky.

I just got me a nice stack of some Playboys from 1974-1982. These things are great I love old magazines I see them as a zeitgesit of our life and times. But Playboys is what I love to collect in terms of magazines, more about they had the best articles, interviews and commentary. The pictures they showed then are so tame compared to what is available in new stands now and this is just comparing them to Maxim and FHM. But Bo Derek is still a 10 in my book.

All of them have the centerfold still in them, which makes them extra valuable. One or two I already have, some I’ve seen in the stores before but just browsed through them. Some really good stuff in these things. I dont think I will find a better one than the interview with Stanley Kubrick I got, thats my pride and joy.

What a quiet day, viagra sale I can’t pin point it just has this strange feeling to it. The roads were empty on the way to work this morning, physician even some shops didn’t even bother opening up. It really gets annoying when government and commerical sectors conflict on vacations. It just not good for business. Only benifit it gives companies that are open time to clean their desks and arrange stuff in peace.

I had a good weekend. A weekend of sex, phthisiatrician sleep and html. Which is what I planned, there were other plans that didn’t come out that well, but it was enjoyable.

I checked out the Life Mall in Shuwaik next to Ikea. Nice place its has Eureka and Midas there, so if you looking for stuff for the home thats where to one stop shop. One plus it has nice underground parking, which was great on Saturday with that rain.

Eid was quiet and festive in its own way. It is not the same as Eid Al-Fitr with the people and the just this confused look on people’s faces when someone offers them something to drink forgeting that ramadan is over.

We are doomed, treatment there is going be no more questions in the future. I thought Kuwait GIS with the option to see pictures of certain buildings was cool. Now Amazon.com does this. You can put an address and it will show you the picture of it, price
and the neighbor buildings and shops around it. And you can also upload your own.

I thought Flickr with their tags was amazing, and how Technorati tagswas cool with it getting pics from Flickr and del.icio.us links.

I tell you once cameras start having full implementation of the standards so it can remeber GPS coords, its just going to go crazy. So when I upload my pics from Sharm El Shiek, it will remeber every point I took that picture. So if someone were to search for an address. It will show pics located near it. Youll be able to have a real view of locations by looking at other peoples pictures when you are thinking of travel destinations, or lost and trying to find where this place is you can access pictures around that area so you can use as landmarks.

I am scared and amazed at the same time with what the future holds.

I am a big fan of soundtracks of movies. I love music that just has a set theme and purpose, physiotherapist and nothing is better to associate music with but with a story.

I been having strange sleeping patterns lately. I been coming home this past week and in bed before 1am most of those nights instead of my standard 3am-4am. Though with this sleep early I still have trouble waking up getting out of bed.

Like today for example. I was awake by like 6:05 but just pushed myself back to sleep, dosage well not before turning on my clock radio. I think thats to blame I had it on Voice of America and they were doing the Jazz America. Great show just great song after song with a little bit of history behind it, public health and interviews with the performers. You cant get a better jazz show than this.

So after about 2 hours of this I finally got out of bed, and out to work. Something about Saturdays in Kuawit lately. I just notice it just so empty and quiet. It very strange feeling this lullness when I drive. Its not just the driving, today I went to the city and even found empty parking spots. This doesn’t happen on regular days. I guess its due to that banks are closed and also the schools are on vacation.

It very strange feeling this lullness when I drive. Its not just the driving, today I went to the city and even found empty parking spots. This doesn’t happen on regular days. I guess its due to that banks are closed and also the schools are on vacation.
As you know I love collaborative stuff, traumatologist
and just when people get together to create stuff. So seeing this iWikipes. A wiki based recipe book.

This gave me an idea, I created Recipes page for KuWiki so we can perserve our on Kuwaiti dishes.

So here is a list of some great soundtracks. MOJO’s Top 100 Soundtracks of All Time List (“You Ain’t Heard Nothin’ Yet!”)

So here is a list of some great soundtracks. MOJO’s Top 100 Soundtracks of All Time List (“You Ain’t Heard Nothin’ Yet!”)

These are the albums I got while I was at Austria. They have all been on heavy rotation in my car for the past month.

  • Kasabian
    • Kasabian – Kasabian:
I picked up this album cause of the ref face in the cover. It just look so rebelish and terroristical that I was like yeah. I can feel what this band is about. And I wasn’t wrong this is music to start a revolution with. Beats and bass is the real kicker on this album and the melodic guitar riffs. The lead singers voice can get annoying at times with his “aha ah ah” but you it passes quickly. This is the indie band of 2005.
  • On My Way
    • Ben Kweller – On My Way
  • Cafe Drechsler
    • Cafe Dreshsler – Radio Snacks
  • Brazilian Soul
    • Aymuth – Brazilian Soul
  • Lost Riots

    • OMFO – Trans Balkan Express
  • Under Munka Moon
    • Alice Russel – Under the Munka Moon

The cover just seemed funny some guy on a mountain with wolves around him. It made me thing of an Alternative John Denver. Which is what he sounded like if John Denver lived in New York instead of Colorado. This is your folk album for the city. At first I was scared it was emo when I started listening to it, cialis 40mg but lukcily he doesn’t whine and moan. Good listen to for when moopy and just cruising.
  • Cafe Drechsler
    • Cafe Dreshsler – Radio Snacks
They had a piece of meat on a clock radio, buy information pills so I had to get it. This album could be a great sound track for a movie, health with the starting song containing 33 seconds of digital silence, then 2. Wake Up, 3. Train Track. You can just imagine someone waking up and going to do something. Its has a jazzy rock feel with just the right amount of digital effects to still have a old roots soul.
  • Brazilian Soul
    • Aymuth – Brazilian Soul
It was bright and shiny and has Brazil in the title. Bossanova owns your ass, what a great album, and this is the bands like 30th year together. This album also has a jazz feel, real calming and you just hit play and forget about it, and then notice your humming to the song and tapping your feet to the beat. I plan to get more of their music. This album won me over, but when this girl was in my car and noticed it was Brazillian she was impressed so that gives it extra points.
  • Lost Riots
    • Hope of the States – The Lost Riots
The cover was cool the name even cool, and the first song owned your ass so bad you were like DAMN this insturmental epic of it, and you just have these high hope for whats next. Sadly next was hearing the lead singers vocal. Ugh annoying, the music on this album is amazing, but the singer just butchers the song. Supposedly he sounds much much better live, but how couldnt they get that in the studio beats me. There are couple good songs on here, but it just falls short due the singer.
  • OMFO
    • OMFO – Trans Balkan Express
The name of the band reminded me of Kraftwerk and their Trans European Express, and with the cover art of some sewing it just got me interested in what this was. I imagined electro beats to old classical Balkan music, and that what it was. Good album quiet impressed with songs and beats. It is a very simple album but has lots of history in it especially with his choice of insturments like violins and I think I heard some bag pipes.
  • Under Munka Moon
    • Alice Russel – Under the Munka Moon
I couldn’t keep my eyes from this cover, it was psychadelic and silver and was pretty. Basicly Joss Stone=Old and Busted, Alice Russel=New Hotness. This girl got some lungs and a soul. You can’t miss this album if you a fan of 70s soul divas.
  • White People
    • Handsome Boy Modeling School – White People
I just remeber the name and said wtf. I was lucky I had a good memmory its Prince Paul and Dan the Automator back again with their large number of guests giving vocals to their amazing beats. Its a hip hop album for the people who dont like hip hop or rap but enjoy good music and well produced stuff. One of my favorite songs on there is If there wasn’t for you about a guy talking about the important people in his life, like his best friend, his child etc and the song Rock and Roll (Could Never Hip Hop Like This)

Note to self dont post “how to” stuff when sleep depped”

So I didn’t quiet explain stuff well in my previous post, information pills but thankfully someone got it (Valiant Contender)

Here is what he wrote:

1. Sign up at http://del.icio.us/
2. After verifying the email, sanitary login and click “post” in the top menu
3. Add any of the links to create a bookmark to your browser toolbar. To add any of those links to Firefox or Internet Explorer drag a link from the emblem of the site in the address bar to the link bar
4. Whenever you want to add a site you want to keep track of, discount rx all you need to do is click that link you added on the toolbar and enter a tag “comments” or so, then you can visit your del.icio.us account (hehe no pun intended) whenever you want to review the links you kept track of.

That is the the gist of it.

Here is a better link on what you can do with del.icio.us. It also gives you the process on creating live bookmarks.

Routines

I signed up for this service called Email Roulette. Basicly you create an account and you send an email and it goes to someone random who also subscribed to the service and they have the option to either reply or not. Its all anonymous and its like a message in a bottle pen pal system.

I will see what happens with it but seems it will be fun if people reply and stuff.

I am sick of social networks like Orkut Friendster, order
and Tribe. They have a great idea, purchase
of just connecting people and showing who is connected to who, and a place for people to get together. But they have one crutch, its centralized so you have to log in to actually check on messages and people, and no one has time for that.

I think the future of networking is blogs and syndication.

With blogs you have a quick glance of the persons life, you can see who they know by their links. Their links can have tons of meta data using XFN. Which allows you to saw who you are close to, neighbors, friend, business associate etc. I think it needs more work in the linking options but its simple and basic so thats a plus for it.

Also in a blog you can have other information with syndication system. With people using Amazon and Netflix they can get a feed showing what they just rented, read, got etc. Like how I have my listening and reading on the right. Thats just an rss feed from del.icio.us. Also my Flickr pics are there on what I am seeing.

But we can take it on step further with a complete syndication. My friends can just subscribe to my feed, and without visiting my blog. Friends can get my zeitgeist of what I am doing, reading, watch, listening, and taking picture of. Also I can attach some sort of “where am I” so it updates it on my location when I am traveling or just in town.

They are lots of options and ideas, but the main focus is sharing your life with your friends easily. I think slowly we are going to be reaching there.

I noticed something about myself lately, viagra I have strange routines. Well its more like routes.

Like today for example:

I went to the airport twice, and both times picking someone up from Sheraton Hotel.
Both just happened. It wasn’t planned or coordinated.

Or days where I roam around certain areas. Its like I am stuck there. Like when I have work in Shuwaik and just hover and roam around that area all day going back to certain locations again and again but for totally different reasons like someone calling me to get sent there.

Its all very strange, I need to figure out a way to place breadcrumbs on the street to keep track of the places I went that day and see if there is some large patern in my life I dont know about. Like if I dont spend X amount of time in Kuwait City my body goes through weird withdrawls, so it drags me back there to get my fix.

First Kuwait Blogger Meetup

I attended the grand opening for Baroue. It is a new store at the Avenues that caters to children and is a Kuwaiti concept. These guys have put a lot of passion and dedication to this and it shows.

I was impressed with it size and attention to details and just how it attends to both parents and children. You really have to check it out to really see all the features and wonder feeling from just entering the place.

Today we had the first Kuwait Blogger Meetup at Second Cup in Kuwait City. It was a great event we had good a turn out in my opinion and it was great puttting faces to names and actually talking to people and getting to know them personally instead of just reading their blogs.

We stayed a long time at Second Cup and talked about lots of random stuff, audiologist and really not a lot about blogging suprisingly. I enjoyed it for I really love meeting new people and especially having a good conversation with them. A good stimulating crowd that wasn’t shy and very open to sharing and hearing other people’s opinions.

Tata did a good job of picking the even and getting people to come to it. Even though when I tried calling him he wasn’t picking up or replying to my messages. He said he didn’t hear the phone, pill I think that means it is time for a haircut for him. For his efforts I got him a Moleskine. He always said he has a lot of ideas that he forgets, so now he doesn’t have an excuse and its good for his creativity.

Some of the group left there around 9, while the rest of stayed to talk then went to get food at Restaurant 99 for sharwarmas and more talking.

It was a really good meetup, good conversation with good people. I really dont want to get into more detail about it, cause if you didn’t come you missed out. Also the people who came got to learn the meaning of nibaq. So you if you were thinking about coming to this one and didn’t, you better come to the next one!
