We had some beautiful creations in the 60s… We simply don’t maintain things as well as we should. Fahad Al Salem Street could be such a symbol of Kuwait’s transformation in the 60s and 70s. Instead: the beautiful blocks of history act as messy shops at the ground level, and a strange clothes line from the first level up.
