Was doing some random Kuwait searches and started seeing these things between China and Kuwait:
- Kuwait seeks to strengthen oil ties with China
- Kuwait helps protect Xinjiang’s lake with loan.
- Kuwait Oil Company Beijing Office opens
I wonder if that loan for that lake was a bribe helped strengthen the relationship.

I dont know what is wrong with my phone, neurosurgeon either its the charger, dosage battery the software, or even just needs a good format. Cause it isn’t keeping a decent charge, wouldn’t turn on and just doing weird things when people call. Maybe I need an exorcist.
Well it seems that Amr Diab to run for Egyptian Parliament, nurse cure and now with the end of Star Academy nearing. I think the next Egyptian elections should be styled like Star Academy. All the canidates get to live in a house together learning about politics, public speaking, foreign affairs, economic theory etc. You know the stuff a politician should know so they can make a wise decsion.
Then week after week, the voters (1 voter 1 vote) vote for who they dont like, till there is just 1 and they get to be the elected official.
This method would be great, we get to see the candidates in action and how they live with other people. You can judge their skills in the classes they are taking and how they handle the pressure. Since your removing the bad canidates away slowly, your left with the good ones hopefuly. So for the last round with two remaining canidates the ballot doesn’t get diluted with votes for pointless candidates. Thus keeping it faid and balanced all the way through.
I think this is a system that might work very well in this region due to the success of Star Academy and Super Star.

Like something out of the pages from 1984. UAE has signed a deal with IBM to place tracking device in all cars.
Similar in concept to the ‘black boxes’ which track the flight paths of aircraft, this the devices will monitor drivers’ activities and broadcast them to government agencies. The data will be used by the government to monitor traffic habits, approved as well as by companies to tailor their advertising to the consumer.
They claim these black boxes are to monitor traffic and figure out where accidents happen, but then they are going to use it to monitor your speed so if you violate the speed limit you will automatically be fined. Also they can use it to know where you park your car, violate the spot automatic fine. Then they will be able to monitor you 24/7 know where you go, which other people you interact with by seeing who you park next to etc. This is just a huge violation of people’s privacy and rights.
They may say this is to reduce accidents and such, but you don’t reduce accidents by watching people 24/7 waiting for them to commit a crime. You do it by teaching them consequences, right and wrong. Also by doing this surveillance system the people will not trust the government and have fear and contempt for it.
UAE usually the country to look at for innovative ideas and such, but with this they just crossed the line.
reminds me of minority report
I agree with you shady, it would be great to have auto pilot and controlled easy driving if that was their aim. The aim of the UAE government is control by fear and monitoring and that will not work at the end.
Man this really reminds me of both 1984 and Minority Report.
Technology can become really scary in the wrong hands with the wrong mentality.
Would this be mandatory on every car of the country ? If not then it’s fine, when you equip your car with it you call for trouble, otherwise … I’d rather take the bus.
Actually, i do agree and disagree. It may be the violation of privacy laws but it will help reduce the criminal activities and accidents. Because people work their best when they are under observation.
