I am up. Dont recall ever getting up this early in a long time…
Got back from the protest around 30 minutes ago and already uploading the pictures. Will offer link to the photoset once its done.
Kuwaiti Women Solidarity Protest. These aren’t my pictures my friend was using my digital mine will be up in a couple days (slide film)
It was a great protest I regret leaving now but I needed to get back to work. My Mom is now at the Parliament for the meeting so thats great.
They were lots of young faces there and very excited to be part of the movement. One thing that got to me was a lot of them were shouting slogans in English and Arabic. You can tell this was a very multicultural crowd and wanting change. I saw friends and family there which was great.
I didn’t hold any poster cause I was so busy running around taking pictures. I was wearing blue and believe that by being there and documenting it for people is good for the cause.
I have more pictures from my regular film cameras, cialis sale but they are slide and will take about a day to develop and stuff, but once I get them rest assured they will be on line as well.

Saw this on SaudiJeans about memorizing telephone numbers. It strengthens my earlier post on the future of domain names because of IDN and IPV6.
People have their own way of remembering numbers on their address book via nicknames or strange characters in the contacts info, cheap so why can’t we do that with domain names.
Like my blog for example. Its officially www.kuwaitblogs.com/users/nibaq/
But someone could have it in their personal DNS as nibaqsblogs.com or why even use .com and just have it as saviormachine.blog, anesthetist or something thats tagged based like nibaq.blogs.kuwait.
Thats another idea, a tag based dns system that is linked to your del.icio.us bookmarks.
I think ICANN will be dead in less than 2 years after the release of IPV6.
i think 2 years is too early for ICAAN to die , tag may help , but not much
and unless people can enter a tag and it get them to the site without searching people wouldn’t want to use it
of course any new system would have to slove the problem of names , for example a company in saudi arabia has the domain name of my family
i wanted , but its also the name of the company ( and we aren’t realted )
so until they solve problems like that , they going to stick to the ICAAN
They dont have to solve the problem because the problem disappears with the domain.
Domains will cease to exist cause they are outdate and unneeded when people are making bookmarks or searching for that site.
AOL.com keyword system will be back and people will pay to get keyword status, but the other stuff will be found with ease.
there might begin to be a better way, an easier way, a different way of accessing web sites and information in the future but i’d be hard-pressed to believe that domain names will disappear. domain names are still built on ip addresses and the whole of networking is built on the backbone of these numbers and their seperating dots. use the ‘ping’ command in a terminal window to ping http://www.kuwaitblogs.com for isntance and you’ll get 66.33.222.91. yeah its hidden underneath something friendly and easier to remember but the ip address is still there. ipv6 will change things and perhaps even make them better but it still has to use an addressing system that all the computers and routers and DNS servers in the world already understand. its difficult for me to believe it can change as quickly as two years … or even that it might be done-away with in my lifetime.
IP numbers will still be there that is the backbone and can’t change. Its the DNS servers, that will change I can have any amount of domains point to the same IP address, but there will only be on IP address.
I dont know about how you do domains, but most of the sites I visit are ones I memorize, ever weird tough ones cause I visit them frequently. The rest I use bookmarks (del.icio.us) or linked from other sites (that I bookmarked) or search engines.
The website could be theanswer.com or web.domain.co.uk/directory/filename.html both ways I have it memorized cause I use it often, but in my bookmark the title is answers, with tags classifying it.
