I dont know why but just so much work and tasks ahead of me I feel like it Wed.

I guess I just want this week to be over.

Its not ghosts, medications
or an acid flash back but these letters are actually moving and changing.

I am excited about these new e-textiles that will be coming out soon. They will have sensing and computing abilities. This will give it the ability to sense the wearers motions.

Now combine this technology with digital stadium and instead of watching a live feed of sports games you can see a computer generated one. This will be great cause you can start watching games on your game console. So imagine watching the Barcelona vs Real Madrid game live on your PS2 with the game Winning Eleven. You will be able to change angles to your liking. Imagine watching the game with a birds eye view, grip then switching to a wide angle, tuberculosis then connected with the ball. Also you will be able to replay the goals with so many angles and really get an immersion into the game.

I believe this will be the future of sports, especially with how games graphics are getting better and better. Sometimes I can’t tell the difference between a video game and the real thing when they do from a wide angle. I can’t wait for this future.

  1. I doubt people will prefer to watch virtual players over real players. The changing angles thing is cool, but isnt that technology available already today? I remember reading about this satellite station in England offering it where during the match you can choose the camera angle you want…

i do believe video game graphics are getting really good, like u said in wide angle you can barely tell them apart, but I dont think real tv is gonna go virtual when in virtual we are actually trying to go real…

  2. That thing form England is Sky Digital and my cousins LOVE it, hell everyone who watched it for soccer loved it. They can’t stop raving about it, you can change angles or choose which player to focus on. And be able watch stats, and even choose who you want to listen to as announcer (either the offical one or the fan based one) so that gives you more variety in the game. My friends and family love it for it really gives you a better feel for the game.

The only thing I see virtual can’t do and still has trouble if facail expressions. Yet imagine your TiVo and your Game system were one. You can watch a real game, then when you want to switch to a different angle with replay that is impossible via regular tv you switch to virtual mode. This you get the best of both worlds.

  3. Yeah, the announcer is with your team, so he will bitch and moan when the ref makes a bad call for your team, and when they score a goal be all excited and stuff. It really changes your whole feel for the game.
